A mascot for every NaNo, a novel for every November

I don’t recall where I first read about the idea of a mascot to act as both cheering squad and inspiration for NaNo, but I have selected a different one every time. Most of them have nothing to do with the story content. They all were chosen because they just felt right to have at the time. Buzz Lightyear supported me in 2010, Loki in 2011, the Great and Powerful Trixie (of MLP: FiM fame) in 2012, and Bee Domo in 2013. It pleases me to introduce this year’s:

This is Sticky Fingers, aka Stix. He has been rescued from the discounted Halloween items shelf at Barnes and Noble for a much higher calling. Plus he’s fuzzy and floppy. And a spider. I like spiders.
